Magical Story Machine – How to be with your child when you are far away

How to be with your child when you are far away

Personalised gifts for special occasions can sometimes come with a hefty price tag. The Magical Story Machine is a fun new website launched earlier this year, offering parents the opportunity to give a unique gift at a low price for any special occasion, by recording a completely personalised story.  The Magical Story Machine enables you to give a great gift on a budget, by recording children’s favourite stories, complete with synchronised sound effects and music from just £2.95. The recordings are stored online, and can be downloaded to your PC in Mp3 format, and from there any iPod, CD or music player.
The website itself is very user friendly. It’s quick and simple to record a professional sounding story with great music and sound effects that kids will love listening to. All that is required is microphone (usually these are built into laptops as standard). Once your voice is recorded, the story machine works its magic to add in background music and sound effects. Have fun with it and don’t be shy! There’s a section at the beginning for the reader to record a personal message, making it perfect for birthdays and other special occasions.
Stories to record include well known tales such as “The Snail and the Whale’ and “Room on the Broom’, as well as classic fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

There is  currently a special offer running, register now and receive 25% off your first recordings, so come and give it a go!

    What a great idea!

I liv in Brittany, France and have 3 boys agd 6, 3 and 1 – they miss their grandma and grandpa terribly so think I will forward this link to them as would be perfect way for boys to feel close to them.
