Our colourful garden plan – on a baby budget

Sponsered Post

Our garden projects this year involve making our garden full of life and colour, It’s a bit too ‘green’ if you know what I mean.  We don’t have money for lots of new plants so we are going to have to be creative. Our garden is pretty small so it won’t take much to fill it, but isn’t that still tricky on a budget? My kids are 5 and 2. I sat them down to mull it over and here is what they came up with.

Our colourful garden plan:

Use our chalk to make pictures on the concrete in lovely colours

Plant lots of flower seeds and water them a lot

Save our apple pips:  apples are green and red and pretty

Put some bunting up

Keep bright coloured clothes blowing on the washing line

Paint our brown plant pots with rainbows and s.p.o.t.s.

Put red curtains up in the shed

Now we have to convince dad that these two little landscape gardeners have a workable plan. Don’t hold your breath…but wouldn’t it be wonderful!  I so love their imagination and ability to bypass the need for lots of money and long queues in the garden centre.

It all sounds very ambitious and something I’m sure you’ll all do very well. Enjoy it too!
