Working mums is a brilliant advice website for mums considering any kind of work. Their franchise zone for example, has a whole raft of possible franhcise opportunities for mums wanting to combine parenting with some paid work. I often have a peek at the latest offerings; anything from drama to relaxation, Ann Summers to Usborne books. Fabulous and with all the contacts you could need.
I also love the Q&A section on the site. It includes some brillaint questions such as What if you return from maternity leave to be told you have no job? Or where can I do a flexible PGCE? There is advice on redundancy and on polishing up a CV, in fact all the sorts of things that when you have been away from work for a while you really neeed some guidance on.
There is also the fab WM magazine online which looks at issues like to do lists and whether or not we pass on learning anxieties. There is a blog on the site too with a diverse array of parent bloggers talking about how they juggle work and home life. There is also a job section which is comprehensive and up to date.
It is a brilliant, useful, packed full website. Well worth you taking a look. You can find them at http://www.workingmums.co.uk
