Well everyone who voted for me for the mummy and daddy best new blog award,, thank you so much. I didn’t win my category that honour went to Slummy Single Mummy Jo (who is REALLY very funny so do check her out.) Nevertheless i hads a brilliant time …such fun to meet lots of other mummy and daddy bloggers and yes I’ll admit it to have a bit of P+Q from the kids. It was also nice to have a chance to dress up and I want to share with you what I wore.
I was a bit scared when the dress code seemed to be going down the smart dresses route. I don’t know about your good selves but since becoming a mummy and a SAHM at that, smart dresses are not often called for. Luckily I have a fab friend Carol who hooked me yup with Very who said they would sort me out! I don’t really buy clothes online…I tend to like to try them on as
- I’m short and a little chunky and
- these days most of my clothes come from the supermarkets
I was really shocked at just how many dresss Very had. Very many in fact (boom boom) I had a good browse and chose this South Petite Tiered Ruffle Dress (£39) + Love Label Leggings (£12 for a pack of 2). Both fit like a dream and looked exactly as they do on the model (well you know what I mean.)
Don’t I scrub up well! (yeah, right!)
I felt great in my new togs which I teamed with £4 ballet pumps from Asda (old budgeting habits die hard!) Thank you Very your clothes are really lovely and v good value. I had tons of compliments on my outfit and I will definately pop back to your site again.
