Frankie and Bennys Cocktails

We were invited to go as a couple and review the new cocktail menu and have a meal at Frankie and Benny’s. I ditched my OH and went with a group of Nottingham Blogger pals instead. We had such a nice evening, chatting the night away. Pizza and burgers were demolished and every single plate was completely clean. Everyone said they had enjoyed their food. The drinks went down a treat too.

My son is called Frankie so I had to try this from Frankie and Benny’s new cocktails menu.

There are some lovely non alcoholic cocktails…..

Frankie’s Fruit Punch £2.95

A full and fruity combination of orange and pineapple juices;brought to life by almond syrup and grenadine. It was delicious.

Next time I go i think I’ll try this

Amalfi Sunrise £2.95

A delightfully refreshing combination of orange, passion fruit and lemon, with a vivid splash of pomegranate syrup.

and a much wider range of alcoholic ones including the usual suspects and these (new to me) and very interesting sounding drinks

Bramble £5.95

A crisp and refreshing cocktail with layers and layers of flavour, Bombay Sapphire gin, fresh lemon juice, sugar and

Chambord black-raspberry liqueur combine effortlessly.

Espresso Martini £5.95

A rich combination of fresh espresso, Eristoff vodka and Kahlua coffee liqueur, a real pick-me-up!

Overall impression of Frankie and Bennys cocktails

I do think the drinks were over iced thought they were delicious and there wasn’t much of a drink for the price. but I am not a cocktail drinker so maybe this is always the case? The food was good and the company was great. The music was too loud (or was that my age!)

I hope you enjoyed my review of Frankie and Bennys cocktails you mihgt also like my Pineapple Screwdriver recipe? Or how about my orange and cranberry vodka cocktail?

I think the drinks probably were over-iced, but I really did enjoy the food, and the company was lovely, as ever 😉
