Today – Tesco school uniform

Those lovely people at clothing at Tesco who try  hard to understand mums on a budget kindly sent me a uniform pack.  The first fabulous thing I noticed was that the polo shirts say dirt defence on them…oh I can’t wait to try that out. My son often looks like that little boy from Snoopy (was it PigPen) who is covered in dirt as soon as he sniffs it! Apparently dirt defence helps prevent soiling and increases stain removal during washing. I usually avoid buying own brand polo school shirts as my past tries have all stained so quickly . Dirt defence is a FAB concept. These are 3 for £5.The long sleeved shirts also contain this and are NO  IRON Oh it gets bertter! these retail at 3 for £8.

The boys wool blend sweater and girls wool blend cardigans are machine washable and tumble dryable  which is great news for an item that is wool blended.

The trousers are again dirt defence no iron items – HURRAY!  And are excellent  value at 2 pairs for £5. The little girls school skirts are pleated (but still no iron!) and stretchy  and shower resistant ( 2 for £8) .

I am extremely impressed. I may chuck my iron in the bin!
