Review: The Phillips HP4666 jug kettle and matching toaster

My kettle had gone really funny and my toaster was all cracked. It was a VERY good day when the new Phillips kettle and toaster arrived for review. I don’t function too well without strong coffee in the morning !

Oh I love the Philips HD4666/60 Metallic Jug Kettle we received in  Vanilla Cream. It is both sleek and stylish. Like me. Well not at all like me but how I would like to appear!

The 1.7 litre water capacity is perfect for large families and when entertaining lots of friends. It has a large illuminated water gauge window for easy viewing, rapid boil technology and has a 360 degree base for ease of use. It is so quick easy to use and just does what a kettle should!

  • 3 kW .
  • Capacity 1.7 litres.
  • Concealed element.
  • Rapid boil.
  • Boil dry protection – automatically switches off when the kettle is empty (so handy for me!!)

  • Pull back lid.
  • Spout fill.
  • Easy fill and easy pour.
  • 360 degree base.
  • Non-slip feet.

It is lovely; it is  practical and perfectly sized for when I have my friends round for coffees and cakes !

We also reviewed the lovely co-ordinating toaster.

The Philips HD2628 two slice toaster, also comes in the metallic vanilla cream, and it looks very stylish too. Its features include a re-heat function, removable tray and adjustable width slots – perfect for making hot toasted bagels and toasting big hunks of bread from unsliced loaves!

  • Wide slots.
  • Variable width slots.
  • 7 toast settings.
  • Cancel function.
  • Defrost function – to toast bread from frozen.

  • Variable browning.
  • Removable crumb tray.

I think you’ll agree this is a lovely set. It also comes in red and stainless steel should that float your boat too. These are really high quality, built to last products that also look fab!

Anyone  fancy popping round for coffee and cake?

On-site horse stalls may be available at many events by advance reservation.
I’d bet real money that if you polled people on the street, 99 out of a 100 of them would have never even heard of Desiree Jennings. When you hear the words ‘self defense’ there are a few images that may come to mind.
