At theGoodLifeBloggers us light-greenies have always recycled, from bottles, cans, card and paper. We have a paper-shredder so that we can feed our compost bin with a bit of dry stuff.
I was chatting to my friend Ellen about this last night, and she had this story for you:
I was helping my mum clear out her airing cupboard, we came across an amazing seventies pillow case, which was pink and flowery – which I couldn’t bring myself to send to the charity shop – it held too many childhood memories for me.
Finding this ‘treasure’ led to a bit of an obsession, I found myself trawling charity shops, and the collection grew – so I started experimenting with the fabrics, and have quite a selection of plush toys which are stuffed with the filling from my mum’s old sofa!

So thanks to my mum, a bit of recycling has turned into an industrious hobby, which I am actually making a bit of money from now too!
