A Peg Doll Nativity

Every sunday morning my son plays football . Every Sunday morning I try and entice my daughter outside to scoot or bash a few tennis balls around. Without fail we stay in and craft. She just loves it. Oh and the mess she can create my small little girl with big crafty ambitions.

Yesterday the last day in November and and she could not contain her Christmas excitement any longer. Lets make a nativity she suggested eyes a gleaming.

So here is what we made.

Isn’t it just gorgoeus!

We also managed to make a tree and a Christmas card and decorate a gift bag. Oh we had a lovely time .

Every so soften I receive some Bostik products to review and to craft with. I have to say the glue dots and blu tac were invaluable in making our nativity . The glue dots helped secure the tissue and felt to the pages securely and discretely and with no mess . The blu tack secure the pegs to the tray and enabled them to stand up. Fantastic. Can only imagine the tissue smeary mess we would have got in with PVA glue and the rips sellotape would have caused!

Does it seem a little early for Christmas crafting? Well in my experience weekends before Christmas get filled up with visits and visitors, there are after school clubs and activities already booked in. We will take our crafting opportunities wherever we can. And don’t forget to photograph what you make ..lovely memories and saves storing them forever!
