Today – Creative Easter
I love to spend time with my kids making things and our kitchen table is well used indeed.
Easter is one of my favourite times, a lot less present orientated than Christmas and far less pressured all round, it is always such a lovely way to welcome in Spring.
We received a hamper of Easter crafty goodies from Ollie and Leila the gorgeous children’s bespoke furniture company. We could not hold off to Easter to open it up! I think I was as excited as the kids were!
Creative Easter
Inside was the most amazing chocolate egg kit to decorate with lots of sweeties. How much fun. It just involved melting chocolate drops and using them as paint to stick on the sweets.
Lisi was in choccy heaven! I had to help her despite her protests (and swipe a few sweets of course) How fabulous for her to decorate her own egg.
Next we opened the little wood eggs and chick s that need ed decorating and out came the paints.
We have lovely white tree form Hobby craft which will look perfect hung with all the eggs we decorated .
What a lovely afternoon we had.
Tonight my son is going to decorate his. They do love to personalise things and the fun we have had together making these has been so much more than the end result.
Have you been doing any Easter crafting ?
