The lovely people at B&Q are encouraging kids to get involved in DIY projects and asked me if I would like to get my kids involved.
Over on thier facebook page they have a whole host of ideas for projects kids can get involved in from making their rooms glowin the dark to building dens (I’d ignore the sunny weather ones I think it’s over don’t you?) Take a look at the video and more ideas on their Facebook page here.
They sent me a £50 B&Q voucher to treat my little ones and get stuck in and
do a project! I gave them totally free rein and here is what they chose to buy.
They love their new tree house and want to be sure they can use it after school when it is dark just like they did in the summer. The bulbs wer great fun to plant and the birds are now coming to be fed. The toys are neatly stored and the tree house is lit in the dark
All very sensible – I’m shocked!!!
Thank you B&Q!
You have just reminded me I need to plant some bulbs!
what a fantastic bundle of goodies, all for £50? Bargain! Great ideas from your children too, all focussed on keeping their tree house relevant through autumn and winter. Nothing is more magical as the evenings get longer than a tree house all lit up with fairy lights.
