An easter table centrepiece (kids craft)

I have just read a fabulous article on kids a ctivities over Easter for just a £1 by savvy finance writer Sue Hayward over at ParentDish. Do check it out it’s ace! Here’s another fun little idea for you to do at home which will only involve breaking a few eggs, not the bank !

Sponge painted eggs

(Hard boiled eggs, paints, small sponge pieces, egg box, green tissue paper)

  1. Hard boil your eggs and when cooled place them back in an egg box.
  2. Give your child little sponge pieces to dip in various colours and splodge all over the top half of the egg, each one a different colour.
  3. Let dry before turning to do the underneath,
  4. Tear the tissue paper into strips to look like grass and place in a bowl. When dry add the eggs.

      A perfect Easter table decoration.
