Today – An easter table centrepiece
I have just read a fabulous article on kids a ctivities over Easter for just a £1 by savvy finance writer Sue Hayward over at ParentDish. Do check it out it’s ace! Here’s another fun little idea for you to do at home which will only involve breaking a few eggs, not the bank !
An easter table centrepiece
Sponge painted eggs
(Hard boiled eggs, paints, small sponge pieces, egg box, green tissue paper)
- Hard boil your eggs and when cooled place them back in an egg box.
- Give your child little sponge pieces to dip in various colours and splodge all over the top half of the egg, each one a different colour.
- Let dry before turning to do the underneath,
- Tear the tissue paper into strips to look like grass and place in a bowl. When dry add the eggs.
A perfect Easter table decoration.
