Self cleaning soft furnishings!
I’d love new windows and a new kitchen but I doubt pennies will allow those. Instead I’m hoping for a calm, happy year together in our home. This year has been a struggle.
New doors and windows as house is cold and lets in too much draught.
I wish for a good brickie to rebuild my back and front steps, as they have collapsed and need rebuilding different to as they were. Then I can put my house up for sale.

I have been trying to save for a dishwasher but the money always goes somewhere else 🙁
My wish is that my boiler can be nursed through the winter until I can afford a new one in the Spring- one that is more eco-friendly and fuel efficient.
The crack in the wall to be fixed before it gets worse especially with the frost and ice.
I wish that my husband and I will be able to save enough money in 2012 to replace our conservatory. It is unhabitable and damp with mould growing on the walls and across the sofa in there. Every winter we have to prop the roof up to stop it caving in under the weight of snow/heavy rain and winds and in the summer we are rendered unable to use our garden as the children have to go through the conservatory to get out there.
Would love to be able to get double glazing, and somebody to declutter and spring clean the whole house would be great!
More practical storage space would be awesome!
I wish for our renovations to be complete. Doing it ourselves is taking forever. Really want the skirting boards on, as then it will really be snug & warm.

I wish that I find enough time and ‘inspiration’ to sort out my storage (or rather, lack of storage) problems. I also wish that my husband would put the door back on my wardrobe (it fell off in April) to stop the cat from using the botto of the wardrobe as a bed – all my fleeces are covered in fur!
A wood burner would be great at this time of year.

My home hasn’t got a roof or ceilings or floors (or a bathroom, kitchen or anything else ome to think of it) at the moment (whoever thought doing work on our new place over Christmas was a good idea?!) so any of those replaced would be nice. Otherwise I’ll settle for lots of laughing!

My wish for my home in 2012 is that the Garage to be converted into an extra room
so my husband and son could use it as a study/office instead of taking over the dining room table, it would be so nice to have all the books and paperwork in its rightful place and then the house could be neat and tidy and easier to keep clean and we could sit down for meals around the table with out haveing to move everything off it first.

I wish for new curtains for the master bedroom – since we moved in we have had odd ones as there are 2 windows and in the old house we had only 1, it’s been almost 2 years now but there is always something else the money needs spending on! It would be so nice to have matching ones!! 🙂
A new mattress, Mine seems to be sagging in various place, like sliding into a pit. Very comfy, but hardly good for the spine!

I am hoping to get a new 3 piece suite for my home in 2012. The one we have is dark red leather and it was my mum and dad – they gave it to us when we got married (18 years ago). Honestly they looked after it and I have tried to, but now my children are older, if we can possibly afford it – I don’t really want a buy now, pay in 3 years time offer – that is what I would love 🙂
I am saving up for a food mixer in the hope it will make me a domestic goddess like nigella!

I would love to clean up our garden and really start to make full use of it, and relax in the all too infrequent sunshine. I would also love to put a nice comfortable bench in the garden and to read there.

I want 2012 to be a peaceful year for me and my family. i want to pay off as much debt as i can and make our new home as comfortable and cozy as possible.
I wish for carpets and curtains. Since moving into a new house we haven’t been able to afford these yet so next year we plan to buy one bit at a time.
New double glazed windows – the seals have gone on the ones I have now and I can’t see through some of them! 🙁
To manage to keep the house clean & tidy for the kids while finishish off all the decorating & millions of repairs. I also need to work out how to lay a patio to make the garden useable for the kids & stop it being the muddy water-logged mess that it is at the moment!

I need to make more use of the garden as soon as the weather gets better as my house is now feeling too small since my daughter started running about!
I am having a baby girl in Jan so I wish my house just stays as it is, clean, smart and cosy, though with a baby I douubt it!
I’d love to get our boot room sorted out, (carpeted and cupboards / shelves fitted) once the storage situation in there is sorted we’ll have lots more space and will be able to use the boot room door as an entrance.
We’re still renting so my wish for my home would be more discipline to keep the place regularly clean! I’d also like to grow a little urban veggie garden this year!
