Today – Worry eaters review
Toys are such a brilliant way to take away a child s worries. Working as s a grief therapist I would often use puppets to encourage children to talk to me about their concerns, or we would use figures way to act out stories. Toys are a safe haven to talk things out. Toys can also be great cuddlers.
Worry Eaters Review
My daughter was sent a worry eater recently. I have to say it is rather adorable and it doe s a very important job. I said It but actually his name is Pomm and he is a real character
Worry Eaters are based on Gerd Hahn’s animation, Sorgenfresser. Brilliant for eating nightmares and acting as a ‘waste bin’ for worries of all shapes and sizes, children simply write or draw their troubles on a piece on paper and feed them into the zip mouth of the Worry Eater.
She had a go at this and fed in slips of paper with her worries on before bed and I took her worries out (which I agreed with her) and we talked about them the next day.

Such a nice toy and such a lovely way to support a child’s emotional health and well-being. What a lovely range of characters to choose from. A big step up from worry dolls and much nicer to hug!

These are such a fantastic idea and look so cute too…. I think I might consider getting one of these for my youngest. She is a worrier.
We have a worry eater, but I keep forgetting to check it. They are such a lovely idea though. xx
