Book Reviews for Mums
I had to include this as Book Reviews for Mums is my blog! It is packed with reviews on parenting books from the traditional such as raising Boys to the more obscure such as Whale Done Pareting. It also contains a host of book reviews of books for dads, babies, under 5’s 6-12’s and teenagers. There are weekly competition too and posts about book events as they happen. A lovely blog that is also happy to take guest posts.
Playing by the book
I have featured this brilliant book blog Playing by the Book quite recently but am very happy to tell you about it again. In this blog Zoe Toft takes a book for review and show us how it inspires her and her girls to play and to craft and to listen to certain music in relation to it. Red Ted Art
Well those of you who read the wonderful Red Ted Art nbog will know it best for craft but Maggy and her family fereently love books too. On Mondays she post 3 book reviews of books that they are curretnly reading and on Wednesdays she posts a book & craft project. So do pop over on those days!!
WAHM BAM
Actually a parenting blog, once in a while WAHM BAM’s Tasha devotes herself entiely to books and her book weeks are spectacular. She features everything from picture books, to how to write, parenting book reviews to links to teen fiction reviews. Do check out her archives and pressure her to do more!
Loads of reviews take place over on this blog and interspersed among them you will find some brillaint book reviews . Cheryl writes clearly and succinctly and she and her children read widely which makes for great reviews. Recent reviews include Ping and Pong: Grow from a fab new writer Amy Trevaskus and Anorak Food is fun, a cook book for kids. Great stuff.
