I would treat myself to some new clothes. Even though son has turned 2, I’m still wearing all my maternity clothes as that is all that fits me. I’d put off buying anything new because I was sure I’d go back to my old size but I now know that is *never* going to happen!

oh lovely. . . If I had £100 just to spoil us . . . .I really need some perfume, I don’t have any, so I would treat my self to some.
Then I would get my hubby a couple of DVDs as he has been such a sweetheart lately sorting out the house with DIY jobs as our little girl is now crawling and needed safety gates, fire guards etc. done.
And I would treat our 10 month old Jasmine as she’s growing out of her baby toys so I would get her a few of the pre school toys such as fisher price bright beginning touch and crawl. Lovely comp, nice to dream . . . .

If I had £100 tesco vouchers I would treat my daughter to some new toys, I would treat my husband to some new shoes (!) and myself to chocolate – lots of 🙂

I would put a bit on top and would buy Kindle for my boyfriend who has to commute to work and spends 3h on a bus. Reading e-books would help him kill time.

  269. Hayley Todd
    September 18, 2011 / 9:28 am

I always tend to buy for the children and not me, so my initial reaction would be to say to spend it on lots of Christmas goodies for them, but if I had to buy something for myself I would choose some lovely new bedding as we haven’t changed our bedding for such a long time, instead spending the money on the children’s rooms etc and there has been no money left for my room which needs a much needed makeover!

  270. helena haddock

    September 18, 2011 / 11:34 am

Both my little ones seem to have grown enormously since last winter (how dare they?!) so none of last year’s clothes will fit them this year. With £100 I could treat them to a new winter wardrobe each. I’d leave just enough for a bottle of wine and a big bar of Galaxy for myself.

  276. Emily Hutchinson
    September 18, 2011 / 12:55 pm

I would put it towards some new clothes! My clothes are mostly years old, and being a student its hard to justify spending money on them when you’ve got rent, bills, food and tuition fees swallowing up most of your loan! Also, maybe some food that isn’t Tesco value!

  315. September 20, 2011 / 5:31 am

I have been on a diet and lost 1 and a half stone so could do with some new jeans as mine are being held up by a belt. I would also love a nice winter jumper.

I would buy some books that I have wanted to read for ages.

I would buy some steak, we can never have enough money for steak and me and hubby could do with a nice meal.

I would buy some nice bubble bath and some shampoo and conditioner that costs more than £1.

I would also have to sneak in buying the girls a winter hat, scarf and gloves set each because I love them lots.

We’ve just bought our very first house and buying everything you need is so expensive.
We’ve tried to buy supermarket own lines of things such as cutlery and furnishings but the house it still VERY sparse.

So id use the money to buy us a few more things for our little house and fill it out a bit – like a wardrobe – as most of our clothes are piled up on a chair in the coorner

  367. SARA
    September 20, 2011 / 6:15 pm

Well My immediate answer would be to get a few toys for the kids from the man in the big red suit. However that would really not be treating myself. Its been so long since i recklessly spent money on myself i think i would love to go to the local tescos that stocks clothes and spend it all on me on what ever i like with out having to evaluate if i need it can afford it , will wear it or if i can get it cheaper so i can get kids something.

I would treat my self to a brand new xmas tree and some pretty decorations as i love christmas with my family its so magical and we have had our tree for 8 years this year (it only cost us £5 when we bought it lol) Its lasted so well but its just looking a little old (like me lol) and im pretty sure they dont only cost that anymore hehe! I love decorating the tree together its just so exciting, so would make my year going out and picking one together as a family and not just what we can afford.

The one they have works when it suits, so to be able to buy this without having to feel guilty as I’d won vouchers, would be lovely. I’m very practical, so normaly I would use the vouchers for food shopping, but a treat is inline for my lovely girls.

I would put it towards a GPS system such as this http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.209-2672.aspx as we have just started geocaching and the kids LOVE it! Fresh air and finding new beauty spots for the kids to run around in, combined with the fact that it is an outdoor treasure hunt and you have a winner! It would be AMAZING to win this as at the moment we can only geocache when my husband is home as we have to rely on his iphone. Thank you so much for running!

I’d treat my five children for being wonderful. We’ve had a tough summer due to health issues and money problems, so I’d treat them to some new board games and DVD’s.

We like nothing better than sitting around the table playing a game, – which in our house can last hours- or putting a DVD on and stsaying “In at the Movies” – with five children going to the pictures is a very rare occurrence, but we make the popcorn and have juice and fruit, close the curtains and enjoy the film. But we could use the new DVD’s to get something a bit more upto date and give us a wider choice.

Hopefully there will be a little money left to buy Mum and Dad a nice bottle of wine for when the children are all in bed too!

Many thanks for a great competition, sorry to say neither my phone nor I know how to tweet! But I’ve already emailed some of my friends to let them know about this and your site. X
