Week Two on the Jenny Craig Diet Plan
It’s now week two of my being on the Jenny Craig diet plan and this week I have lost 3lb. I ‘m beyond delighted as that gives me a 9lb weight loss in the first two weeks. I have now got 80lbs to lose. Still a long haul I know but if I take it just a day at a time. The Jenny Craig diet plan seems to be working for me so far. I’m just eating what I am told!
I have just eaten mashed potatoes with roasted tomatoes and yellow and red peppers. Absolutely yummy. I am making sure I make an event out of my mealtimes by putting lemon in my diet coke and sitting down at the table with the kids and eating slowly.
This weeks consultation was great. We had a talk about emotion and eating and I have been noticing when I eat impulsively. Often if I am cross , upset or sad I head straight for the kitchen and munch. I need to go in a different direction so I have been heading instead upstairs and either picking up a magazine for a quick read or sorting the laundry! Both seem to be helping. (I prefer the magazine but that laundry pile is HUGE!)
I found out this week I have become a finalist in MAD blog awards in the category of best thrifty MAD blog . For those of you that don’t know they are the national parenting awards. This means I will be attending a big awards ceremony in a posh frock in September. How nice if I could be MUCH nearer my goal by then.

I think the personal consultations are the thing that makes Jenny Craig really stand out. When I did it in Australia I went for a face to face one every week. Was this a telephone consultation?

Yes but it feels like its face to face Millie my consulatnt is really warm and personable and it helpps so much having 1 on 1. How did you get on with it?
