The New Disney Store, Oxford Street, London

Oh, it is absolutely magical. Look how happy I am !

On Wednesday this week I was invited to preview the new Disney Store on Oxford Street prior to it opening on Thursday. Wild horses could not have kept me away. I love Disney; it makes me smile, makes my children smile and well I was just delighted to go and see it.

It was every bit as magical as I expected it to be, A ll the usual wonderful quality cuddly toys were there, dressing up costumes, pencil cases and lunchboxes in every favourite character you could think of.

But the surprises were plentiful too. This is the largest Disney store in Europe and the 3rd biggest in the world. It was bound to have something impressive in store. It did indeed, it  has its own little theatre which houses a giant screen where children can choose from over 50 clips in the imagination station. They plan to have lots of free events in the theatere too. There is also a Princess Castle, magical trees, starlit stairs, movies playing on columns, quotes from your favourite films, and a chance to totally build with real tools and human help a car you can deisgn yourself. That’s pretty impressive!

But this, without a shadow of a doubt, was my absolutely favourite entertainment feature of the store:

Do you see that princess in the mirror? Well I conjured that by waving my wand! Magic stuff and you know what by my magic wand I made 4 other Disney princesses appear in those mirrors too. How enchanting. My daughter would love that.

Thank you Disney for letting me visit I have to say I think your store is everything I would expect of you magical, surprising and totally spell binding for the young (and  not so young.) Your staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

The new Disney Store is located at 350 Oxford St and is now OPEN!

Those lovely people at Disney gave me a gift voucher and gift bag to thank me for attending, I had so much fun I think I should have given them something instead!

Wow it looks amazing. It is half term in a few weeks for us so I may give my children £10 – their money – and let them run riot – not literally – in the store. Although not sure £10 would be enough for them.
