Review: The ASDA Wooden Dolls House

Were sent the Asda wooden dolls house to review and I have to say we are blown away with it’s quality.

Not only was it easy to assemble (hurray)  and sturdy it has lovely features and is an excellent price.
The house has an open hinge front door, 2 bay bottom level cut out windows, 3 dual open hinge second storey level windows and 2 roof cut out windows. It has four main rooms on the first and second floors, and a converted attic on the third storey.These all make play lots of fun. The wooden dolls house is also accessible from above with its removable roof. Each level has its own staircase, too so it can be played with a s real home.

It certainly isn’t a dolls house just to look at. My daughter enacts all sorts of stories with the dolls house and loves the open roof and windows, particularly being able to shut the shutters. she plays families with it and has made it into a fairy house and  it has even been an escape house for playmobil robbers!

It is getting a lot of use and it looks beautiful too.

This normally costs £70 but it currently for sale for just £35. A complete bargain.

The wooden dolls house furniture set comes with 22 pieces of living, dining and bedroom setting furniture and has to be bought separately. It is only £8 though and there is so much too it. We have this set and it really is lovely to play with It comes with a 4 doll family including a Mum, Dad, Brother and Sister all with clothing and human characteristics.The little cupboards and drawer actually open and it fits perfectly with this dolls house.1

I love toys that look nice, that encourage children to use their imagination, that will last years and possibly even bee passed down to the next generation. This ticks all the boxes.
