My School Day – a lovely book for starting school

Lovely book for starting school

Well i’ts back to school this week (years 5 and 2 here. Where does the time go?)

My youngest still needs me to remind her about what the school day will entail when she returns after a holiday .

My school day

We have been sent a lovely book called My School day by Priddy books and it is rather perfect for the back to school or starting school reminders. It’s for ages 3+ and it is jam packed with things to look at and do in relation to school.

Children will love to meet Spencer the roller-skating owl, Lydia the shy ladybird, Zippy the squirrel and their other Schoolies friends. Such sweet characters.

I love that is has clock hands to turn so you can practice times together throughout the book and children get a sense of order about their day.

Helpful book for starting school

It looks at routines such as registers and putting lunch bags away. It shows painting and number games, lunch time and playtime. What a lovely way to introduce school and all it involves to your little one.

It is a big, glossy board book beautifully made as Priddy books always are. It makes school look fun exciting and reassuringly it ends with home time and a big sing a long about loving school.

What a fab idea for a book!

This is really something which would set the mood right for getting in back to School mode.
    So playful and indulgnat!
Thanks for sharing this love. My kids like the sponge bob notebooks alot too. Such stuff motivates kids to convince themselves to go back to school mode.
    Love & hugs
