I am starting to think about next seasons clothes for the kids already. The shops are full of autumn clothes and summer stocks being sold off. Before we know it there will be rainy days and howling winds (oh I am such a cheerful soul!)
Anyway those lovely people at Adventure Togs have sent us a pair of waterproof overtrousers so we can still hit the parks even if it it’s been raining. What a great idea! My son has energy to spare no matter what the weather but it isn’t easy to get mud out of his jeans or his school trousers yet sometimes a park play after sitting at school is excactly what he needs. The waterproof trousers they sent us are from Togz (£20.39) . They have no drawstring so they cannot catch on play equipment and they have velcro bottom so socks and little legs are protected too. The waist is elasticated so there is room for growth and they roll up small enough to fit in your bag,
We used these last weekedn on out trip to the Wildreness festival and trhey were perfect…no wet jeans or grass stained trousers. Brilliant…they dried out fast too. A camping must-have.
.Adenture Togs sell a complete range of outdoor and waterproof clothing these can be a really good investment so reglar clothing does not get ruined particularly through muddy children’s play.
The other lovely waterproofs we have been reviewing were sent to us from Vertbaudet. The girls reversible jacket is gorgeous; pink and flowery on one side and khaki on the other. It is showerproof on both sides. Press-stud fastening and it also has a built-in zip storage bag. Currenlty just £11.60. My daughter loved that you could change the look and it was very cute
My son was sent a boy’s hooded windcheater to trial from Vertbaudet (£29.90) Perfect for school this has a zip fastening with a protective flap at neck. It has 2 pockets, a ribbed sleeve edge to keep them warmand it is . machine washable. The lining was 100% polyester micro-fleece and it feels quite cosy for a wateroof.
This was nice and plain and comfy but classic looking too.
