Art: Let your child lead
I was showing my daughter how to make stained glass windows using black paper with tissue behind. She was having none of it and instead made this flower picture (I merely helped with a little circle cutting.) She simply used foam and tissue and glue. It took her ages to decide on her colours. It was very early in the morning and we had almost a whole hour together quietly contemplating this picture.
When it was finished she insisted it was cut around and glued to blue paper because blue looks like the sky. I think that was a great decision. I love this bold picture.

What a great project to work on with your daughter. It sounds like you two had fun together. What a great idea to make stained glass out of tissue paper.
Sometimes there is no stopping a child on a mission, lovely result!
THAT is beautiful!!! I need say no more.
