I reviewed Born to be Yummy Cakes a while ago, they are my cybermummy sponsor and just about to launch, It’s all very exciting!

Then you be delighted to hear that Born To Be Yummy are launching a new children’s snack range called The Goodness Cakes, aimed at 3-10 year olds and perfect for lunchboxes, picnics and all treating occasions. Founded by Clare Panchoo, a mum of 2 and a published children’s nutrition expert the exciting new range are available to buy from July across the UK in independent outlets and online.
All of the products contain a third less sugar and 70% less saturated fat than other similar wrapped cakes. Surprisingly, they also contain less sugar than many children’s fruit and cereal bars too. Packed with oats, fresh fruits and vegetables and other nutritious ingredients such as linseeds they also contain no artificial preservatives, colourings or flavours. If that wasn’t all great enough The Goodness Cakes range all provide a source of fibre so release their energy slowly over a few hours.

Ooey Gooey: A delicious chocolate brownie.
Bonkers choca-na-na: A dark chocolate and banana flapjack.
Flapple jacks: A yummy pineapple flapjack.
Choca doodle choo: A scrummy cocoa and apricot crispie

My friend Mikki is Italian & makes the most amazing Limoncello cake, which is an Italian liquer, it melts in your mouth & her sponge is so light & fluffy as she uses water instead of milk so it’s actually far less calories too

Homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is my fav!
I love coconut cake, with real thick creamy coconut icing, it reminds me of when I was very young and my grandparents ate it. Delicious and light!
