Grand Designs Live Highlights

Today – Grand Designs Live Highlights

Yesterday courtesy of water softening experts, Kinetico, I went to Grand Designs Live at the NEC.  The show gives you the chance to see all the latest trends for the home as well as many products never seen before. It is based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by design guru Kevin McCloud.

The show is spilt into areas so you can head where you are most interested. It was huge! You could head to interiors, kitchen and bathrooms , gardens, build, food and so on. I saw some fabulous things.

Let me show you my Grand Designs Live highlights

Accompanying me to grand designs Live was  Jen who blogs at Love Chic Living. Here she is sat on a fabulous artificial grass sofa. Oh my goodness how I would like one of these in my garden.

and how about having this wagon pitched up in the garden. Wouldn’t it make the BEST of home offices?

This chap really caught my eye. I can’t quite imagine where we would put him but I think he would quickly become a much loved member of our household.

This is a carboot sale and a half! How about your bonnet being a fridge?

I adored this practical solution for under  the stairs and they can just create it with what you already have rather than needing new stairs. I think its rather amazing.

I popped by the busy  Kinetico stand and they told me about the fabulous budgeting benefits of installing one of their water softeners. Its amazing how much your appliances are protected and your energy bills reduced by having softer water. Such a interesting concept.

I’d love to visit Grand Designs Live I love watching the series on TV. It amazes me where how they come up with some of the ideas for storage – I love the under stairs storage suggestion, much easier than fighting to find anything in the cupboard I have at the moment.
