Guest post- Five Days at Butlins
Those looking for fun packed family holidays should have Butlins high up on the list. Crammed full of exciting things to do for all ages, the Butlins resorts are sure to banish the dreaded cries of ‘I’m bored’ and leave you and your kids with memories of an epic time together.
The great news is that Cushelle is running a competition to give away 3 fantastic family breaks at the new Wave Hotel in Bognor Regis. If you need any encouragement to enter, or are undecided as to whether a Butlins break is for you, check out this sample itinerary for an idea of what’s on offer, on resort:
Five Days at Butlins
Monday arrivals can enjoy the resort’s facilities from midday, before checking into their accommodation, so why not have a wander, hitting the funfair, beach, amusements and playground on your way?
Once you’ve checked in and checked out your brilliant Butlins accommodation, it’s time to head out to see a show – there’s something for all ages, every day, at Butlins.
Tuesday’s a great day to try out the pool – or sub tropical waterworld to be precise! Older kids (and grown ups!) will love the flumes, whereas younger children can enjoy smaller slides, shallow waters and gentle waves.
Have you worked up an appetite for a family meal? There are loads of great places to choose from on resort, and if you’ve chosen to include a dining plan then you don’t have to worry about budgeting for meals out.
Sports fans will find that there’s always something going on, with activities for all ages, from tots soccer to football tournaments for the grown-ups. There’s plenty for the whole family to get involved in too. Why not try beach volleyball, frisbee or quick cricket?
As well as your traditional sports, there are lots of opportunities to try something new at Butlins. Fencing, archery and target shooting are popular options, or get that adrenalin pumping on the climbing wall or high ropes.
Before you say goodbye to your Butlins break, there’s time for a last go on whatever you’ve enjoyed the best. Hit the funfair rides or make a splash in the pool. It’s the last day so squeeze as much fun out of your break as you can!
Whatever time of year you visit Butlins, you’ll find a packed programme of activities, clubs and shows, with lots for every member of the family. Whether you’re lucky enough to win a break with Cushelle, or decide to book in some fun family time, you’ll never be bored at Butlins!
