Fairy Family Fun – Keeping it simple.

I had such a lovely day yesterday and it really made me think about what families need to have fun. I was invited by Fairy to Hampton Court Palace to a family fun day ( I know – how fab!)

Now  I love Fairy products. Just like I do with Heinz I feel straight way that Fairy is a high qualitity and established brand. I trust the product will definately work well. I associate Fairy with family life, reliability, and value for money. So I had high hopes for our day out!

The venue was unbelievably beautiful,  we had the garden room at the palace. It had lovely staff, wonderful bloggy friends to catch up wtih and we had strawberries and meringue and halloumi on skewers, but I digreass. Despite being the most gorgeous of venues with amazing food the absolute highlight of my daughters day? Well…it was getting her medal. Fairy family fun

She got a little medal for competing in an egg and spoon race! Now I am sure you all know P&G who own Fairy are sponsors of the Olympics?  well we had our own  mini blogging Olympic egg and spoon races yesterday. Annalise didnt care that she actually came last she was a champion and she showed her medal to everyone and I mean everyone and anyone who would listen all the way home. Somehow in her mind she had won that race!

Fairy are big supporters of family fun and they gave the kids a top day out. They got it absolutely right too because they gve them a grass lawn to play on , music, races and a funny interested adult to co-ordinate some running races for them and make them laugh. Simple pleasures and all that kids need. None of this takes money really and it’s stuff we can almost all recreate. The kids had an amazing time.

Junior Saunders was the childrens entertainer and games co-ordinator . Such a nice, funny, entertaining chap I am sure he’ll turn up on cbeebies one day (and you’ll have seen him here first!) The kids adored him.

Now I have tried my hand at face painting a few times and I have to say I’m not a natural. these guys were however the best in the buiness and so lovely to the kids too.  They are called the Bubblepops and they sing too!

It was a magical day full of fun, laughing, racing, bean bag jumping and family fun and it hads given me lots of ideas for outdoor playdates and just keeping it simple. I feel ready for summer and lots of outdoor jumping racing laughing and dancing.Bring it on and thank you Fairy

(I must add fairy provided us with a couple of cleaning products and some gifts for the children as a thank you for attending…at 6.30 this morning we were up making monsters out the craft kit. I tried telling my daughter family fun has a time and place but she was having none of it!

Fairy family fun has a lovely activity page with tons of ideas for you and yours and you can also find Fairy on facebook  where there  will be some fab pictures from the day too and lots of offers, comps and ideas.

hi there! Great to meet you at last yesterday. I totally echo everything you have said. Our life at Lunchbox Towers has got really crazy recently and you are so right! It was brilliant to just stop, do the simple things in life, laugh alot, run around outside, and just take pleasure in playing fun games, being silly, eating great food and being outdoors in the fresh air. My brood’s highlight was standing on the podium, getting their medals. They haven’t stopped talking about the day, and we’ve watched back some of the videos, it’s so hilarious some of the snippets that went on!
Oh, and the facepaints and gigantic / enormous bean bags, that they stacked high like a tower, then jumped on, and tumbled down with them to the ground!
So like you, we are trying to enjoy the simple pleasures, get away from technology and have some plain old simple fun. Thank you Fairy for bringing it to our attention! x
