I saved £4102, so do I get a cheque? ‘Savings’ like this you don’t notice because its hidden savings, you get used to what you pay and do not notice if things change for the better. Also apart from the ‘green’ thing. Are cheaper energy companies better? We haven’t got the cheapest providers by a long shot, but we pay more because the service has been there in the past.

Gosh I have a long way to go with my savings! Only saved £680…
With regards to energy companies, I just assume I’m getting a good deal – but when EDF keep sending me the same letter each month telling me I’m saving money by paying via direct debit (ok I get it) I wonder if I’m paying them for more than the electricity… But I have comfort in the fact that I’m with well known suppliers like British Gas and EDF as they appear to be trustworthy and we’ve never had any problems. Looks like I need to get one of those OWL readers…
