Cosmetics wise I am very unadventurous. I just go to Boots and buy their own range. I always wear pink lippie, black mascara and a pale base with a bit of bronzer. That’s it and has been for YEARS!
A while back I did have a little makeover and I did try the lovely cosmetics from Sheer Cover but they just aren’t in my current price range.
I hadn’t looked at Barry M make up for some years. Barry M remind me of shopping in H&M some 20 odd years ago. They make me feel young and hip. I was thrilled when I was asked to choose 5 items from their range to review. They have some lovely make up ranges on their website. Lots of glitter and bold make up which isn’t really me but I love it. Lots of classic stuff too and an array of inviting colours.
Here is what I chose and my thoughts on the products:
Pale pink sparkle lipstick £4.49 Smooth and with some staying power
Natural dazzle bronzer £9.99 This is very silky and the perfect colour
Imperfection Correction Ivory 5.99 To cover my dark shadows, works beautifully
Blusher Brush £6.19 Lovely; big and soft
Glitter eye crayon in blue £4.59 That was me being funky – actually it make my eyes sprakle and isn’t crazy!
I actually think these products are very reasonabley priced, high quality with really nice soft/silky feel about them. A real find.
The website is fab too; it has gossip and tutorials on make up and even a beauty salon game.
I would sum these products up as fresh, fun and funky but with some quality classics too, all at a really good, value price. I will definately use them again.
