Balance wrinkle freeze serum: A mummy blogger review: Part 1

I am 40 this year.

Yelp!

The lines on my forehead from LIFE and it’s worries and concerns over the years are pretty etched in now. The laughing I have done too has scored wrinkles round my eys that are very clear. Sometimes I feel I look much older than I am. Sometimes I wish I could change this.

Would I have botox?

Oh probably not, for a whole variety of reasons (money, unnecessary injections, would it be vanity? etc. etc.) However when the lovely PR for Balance Wrinkle Freeze Serum offered up a product for review I about snapped his hand off. So I guess those wrinkles had been bothering me after all.

The little tube of ‘botox in a bottle’ arrived and it’s quite a mad sounding theory but apparently it contains fake snake venom to relax your muscles. It is a clinically proven needle free alternative to botox and it has rave reviews.

Balance wrinkle freeze serum review

After 1 minute: The frequency of muscle contractions that cause expression lines is reduced by 36%.

After 2 hours: The frequency of contractions is reduced by 82%.

In 4 weeks: There should be a 54% reduction in forehead lines .

Directions for use: Apply the serum by gently smoothing it over the face and neck. For best results use each morning and night after cleansing and before moisturising.

So here I am at the end of day 1. I did it at lunch time and after 1 minute could feel my face tingly tightening. I looked in the mirror and could definately see a slight difference. 2 hours later I looked again and really thought my forehead lines looked a lot fainter. Was this wishful thinking?

I went to pick my son up from school  and someone told me I looked really well. I asked a freind if she thought I looked different today and she said ‘actually you look great.’ With prompts to look at me (!!!) my hubby agreed my skin did look smoother. He never bothers with flattery so I knew he meant it.

I am really chuffed to bits. I will keep on going and pop back in 4 weeks with an update.

I want some now. Where can you buy it Becky? Not keen on botox either but would like to have a few less crows feet. By the way – you don’t look nearly 40! Not sure what 40 looks like though.

I am trying this product out for the first time tonight. I am desperate to find something I can afford to maintain. If I could afford Botox and fillers consistently then that would be the answer but I cannot, hence my purchase of this today. I will let you know how I feel with it tomorrow.
