According to my best friend buying an icecream maker for her kitchen was the best investment she ever made.
I have to say spending money on an icecream maker would NEVER have occured to me, Until now. This icecream maker from Gaggia came to us for review and I have to say it makes restraunt quality, sublime icecream. It is amazing and it’s super-easy.
I am not a gifted cook, to be honest I find cooking a bit of chore so icecream making has never been something I have even attempted before.
I am smitten however with my Gaggia icecream maker.
It was so easy to use seriously it took just a 5 minute cool down, I just chucked in my ingrediants and whoosh… about 30 minutes later we had perfect, gorgeous icecream.
This was all that was left by the time I got my camera out…how funny! It was really delicious. next time I am goinf tg to make some mint choc chip or maybe coffee…I bet (I hope) the kids wouldn’t like that!
Here are the technical details
- The Gaggia Gelateria makes creamy, authentic Italian gelato in just 30
minutes - Built-in chiller, so there’s no need to pre-freeze the bowl–simply set the
Gelatiera to chill and it’s ready to use in five minutes - Removable bowl allows multiple batches to be produced
- Two paddle sizes: one to fit the removable bowl and one to fit the fixed
bowl - Makes up to 600g of delicious Italian ice cream
Reviews for this product are always excellent and despite the £295 price tag it seems to be considered worth the money. I do think it’s brilliant but to make a saving on shop bought I think you would have to eat a huge amount! However if you love icecream and cooking with your kids this is the business it certainly tastes superior and is great fun!

That looks like a fantastic piece of kit but realistically, that is quite a lot of money
I would LOVE the chance to review one of these. I am lactose intolerant and would be really interested to know if I could make dairy free ice-cream with it! Would be an extra selling point!
Looks such a fab piece of kit!
Fingers crossed I might be lucky to be sent one! (and toes too!)
