World Book Day? World Menace Day is right round the corner and to celebrate Dennis the Menace is on the loose again.

Oh its £1 very well spent.
I asked my son what it was about and he garbled off ‘that it was a diary really really funny’ and then he was gone. He’s 10 that’s his version of a book review. ‘Would you recommend it?’ I yelled to his retreating back ‘Absolutely’ he yelled back as he ran off inspired to menace his little sister,
My kids are HUGE Dennis the Menace and Beano fans . this is how my son dressed for last years World Book Day . Every Saturday the Beano pops through our door and is devoured with a speed on a par with chocolate. It is such good old fashioned fun.
This month also sees the launch of The Diary of Dennis the Menace: Bash Street Bandit

Its the fourth in the Dennis the Menace series by the brilliantly funny Steven Butler and according to my Frankie ‘it made me laugh loads!’ so there you go. Not a very in depth review but a really positive one!

I love world book day it is such a great way to get kids involved in books (just wish every girl at my daughter school didn’t want to dress as princesses! Our little one is going as Where’s Wally’s Girlfriend this year).
