Autumn coloured flowers in yellows and orange are a beautiful addition to a cosy home in Autumn. I love sunflowers I think they are the jolliest of flowers and they are still abundant in early fall and just bring so much joy to an interior.
Scent
Personally I love to fill my home with home with beautiful Autumnal scents. Pumpkin and apple are probably two of my favourites and sandalwood too of course. I like to use reed diffusers in these scents as they give off a subtle fragrance that is never overwhelming. Candles also work really well and give a lovely diffused light on darker evenings too. Scents are so personal and so lovely they really make a house a home and work well to bring a fall feel to your space.
Blankets – Budget Ways to Make Your Home Cosy for Autumn
Blankets are lovely to have strewn about in the Autumn, folded on a chair or lain over a sofa arm. To really personalise the look a personalised blanket with photos is a cute addition to a home. I am also thinking of sending one of these off to university (with a photo of our family on) so my son so he doesn’t forget us! You could use a photo from a favourite trip or of a pet you love, anything meaningful. A photo blanket will keep you snug and warm your heart as well as your body. A great idea when we are trying to reduce energy use!

Snuggling on the sofa as the nights draw in is one of my family’s favourite things to do, especially if we have a great family movie to watch too.
