100 things to do while breastfeeding
It didn’t occur to me till I had my second baby just how much time I was spending breastfeeding. One day I idly totted up the hours before deciding my number skills must be worse than I thought and checking with a calculator, only to find out I was right. Did you know that the average mother could spend over 700 hours per child breastfeeding? If you’re a parent then every minute is precious, let alone 700 hours. I wanted to make the very most of this time. So seeing as I like to write… I wrote this book while breastfeeding! The ideas aim to help you to:
• Bond with your baby
• Feel good: mind, body and soul
• Lose the ‘baby brain’
• Make time for your older children
• Stay in touch with your friends
• Stay in love with your partner
• Multitask to free up more time in your life
• Rethink and revamp your life
I’m not any kind of parenting expert, I’ve just spent my fair share of time breastfeeding and trying to get other stuff done at the same time, preferably something interesting. One of my favourite ideas from the book that you might like to try: fill up a big bowl with hot water and Epsom salts and soak your feet while you breastfeed. Cheap, easy to set up and very relaxing.
100 Things to do while Breastfeeding is available as an ebook and as a paperback on Amazon.
