Sightsavers are asking everyone to #Imagine2030 and would love to hear parents perspectives.
Why are they doing this?
They are doing this because this year, world leaders are setting poverty reduction goals that last will 15 years. Goals that will determine whether, in 2030, people with disabilities in developing countries are included in society, or left behind.
They believe if we imagine the future we want, if we set ambitious goals, we stand a better chance of achieving them!
So it started me thinking …there are so many things that I would like to be different for mine (and all) children. I want their world to be full of peace and love, not separation, horror, terror and heartache. I think it comes down to us all being giving and loving really…so I need to teach them that, be that myself and hope it spreads. I think it has to be simple… we have to love more and make love an action and look out for each other.
Here is my #imagine2030 dream…won’t you pledge yours?
Can you help Sightsavers get the message across?
Can you set a small (but BIG) dream for 2030, put it in writing here then share it with a blog post about your hopes for you and your family in 2030, asking other people to set their dream too?
It only takes 10 minutes all in but by setting our intentions out into the world I do believe we can start to make a difference.

Lovely to be focusing on looking forward positively like this and for such a good cause too x
I am so with you. Kindness and being nice are such under-rated things today!
