A free Christmas gift idea – so simple
Tiny little hands and feet
On a simple white canvas in my kitchen I have the tiny footprint of my daughter and the little handprint of my son. They were simply pressed in paint and dabbed on the surface but how precious they are! So hard to believe my children were once so very small.
You could just do it on paper or on fabric then frame it or on wheatever material works for you. You can use what you have you really do not need to go and buy something new. It is the heart behind the gift that makes it so special not the money behind it.

Someone I know did prints of all their families hands – just touching in a row, someone else even added in the dogs paw print.
These create beautiful unique art-memories that will be a family treasure forever. Sometimes the simplest things make the best gifts. Whilst you take these prints get some extra made; they make a sweet little Christmas tree hanging with a piece of gingham ribbon or a book mark or perhaps a card or you may juts want to pop it into the baby book!

This is fab, we did this for ourselves when Baba was first born but I love this idea. My mum has a frame of all the grandchildrens hand prints in but nothing on canvass that is a great idea! xx
I LOVE that idea!
Its not often that crafty/creative/effort type things appeal to me but that is SO simple! Think we might just do that!
Thanks for the idea hun!

I’m all for simple!
What paint did you use? My daughter has some crayola paint that is meant to be washable but it stays on her skin for days even after endless washing and baths.
