Lovely Lemon CupCakes – a review of Betty Crockers gorgeous ready-made cake mix.
Cooking with my daughter beings me lots of pleasure. She is 3 and she loves every part of it. She loves setting out the cake cases, measuring, stirring, licking the spoon , seeing them come out the oven, icing them, saving one for gran, taking one to our lovely neighbour and showing her daddy and her brother. It is a BIG activity for us and oh yes …her favourite thing about it …eating them up!
When Betty Crocker offered to send us some brand new cake mixes to try I said a big yes! Betty Crocker cakes have never failed me yet and are EASY to make up. No shame in using a cake mix…just makes it all a lot easier! Even my son joined in this time and these lasted all of about 5 minutes.

The cakes look pretty impressive. Do you think kids can taste the difference between ready mix and home-made? 😉
