Fun Ways to Keep Fit on a budget

Today – Fun Ways to Keep Fit on a budget

It’s really important to stay fit and active when you have young children and there are so many different fun ways.

Fun Ways to Keep Fit on a budget

Loads of my friends have been trying Zumba and say it is great fun. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements and is pretty fast and lively.

When my babies were small I did baby aerobics and exercised with my baby.  We did push ups over them and lifted them in the air. I loved these classes but it was more fun than a good work out.

I have also done many a fitness video (bought from car boots for 50p!) I lose interest in these after a while as they don’t change so swap them around. Its pretty handy exercising in your pJs in you r lounge art a time to suit me.

I have a VTriker one of those scissor action scooter  and I keep thinking I should take it out for  a long scoot a couple of times a week but I rarely do. It seems to rain a lot!

A friend of mine suggested roller skating,. It certainly kept me fit when I was young and it would be great to do with the kids. I would love to go to see a  roller derby UK  and   to check out the skates. Or maybe I would prefer skateboards…ooh they looked fun too. I see skate parks everywhere and secretly I would love to have a go. Would have to be when all the kids were at school though!

There are lots of great ways to keep fit, I have no excuse and it releases all those happy feelings too. We are thinking of getting a trampoline which I’m sure would work wonders!

Get a trampoline – seriously the best investment! It’s so ugly in the garden but it drains my two toddlers of energy and I have a secret bounce too now and then ( and get to nose in the neighbours gardens!)

I keep fit by running around after my two littlies and dog walking daily, but my fave ‘no child’ fitness fun is running and my circuits class.

Since doing the running and circuits I’ve put weight on but gone down 2 dress sizes.

It also means I can eat cake and bad food when I want to and not worry.

I scoot occasionally, but most of the time have to help my littlest, so my only exercise is running around the house after them. I’m hoping one day I might start running again, but I need more time!
