You may have heard of Axa because of Axa car insurance but this article is actually Axa promoting car etiquette. People are rude and dangerous on the road sometimes and its such a bad thing for kids to see. Axa’s campaign Respect on the Road is about bringing manners back to driving.
Personally I respect the road. It took me 15 years to pass my driving test and then only in an automatic! I try and stay as calm as possible when I drive and even if someone annoys me I stay low key and get out the way. I am my children’s role model after all. This may be funny to watch but kids do really imitate what we do

We are so chuffed when they copy how we clap or wave or smile but it can all go a bit downhill as they get older can’t it!
Axa have also took to the London roads and gathered public opinion on this issue. Check this out:

It could quite literally make all the difference to how our children will drive and this could effect their life.

I think this campaign will help and also alert people to their bad manners, but maybe we need stronger rules?
Really important issue..it’s surprising that nothing has been done before to stop it really.
The questions is, has there even really been respect on the road? Either way, it would be nice not to face the brunt of it!
