Review: Spooky Steps from Orchard Toys

We like our board games here at baby budgeting. They can be played over and over again, they bring a whole family together, they are full of opportunities to learn AND have fun and they are such value for money!

So we were delighted to be asked to review a brand new games from Orchard Toys.

We have many Orchard Toys puzzles and games and always find them such good quality. Robust, straightforward and really engaging. Spooky Steps is no exception.

It is a game of chance and risk with lots of adding up too. A typical travel round the board game with lots of fun spooky twists.

It has been brilliant for my 5 year old and her maths. I have learned a lot about her personality too. I am very cautious and will only turn over one or two cards scared a ghost may come and make me go backwards. She takes big risks and they often pay off. Every card she turns over she has to add up the footsteps to get her round the board and she takes loads. Its brilliant for her skills base. She has also really enjoyed constructing the board.

We have played this a number of times now and have had great fun with it.  It retails for £15.95 and is well worth it

Many thanks Becky for a great review. Really pleased that it’s helped your little girl with her counting. May it become a firm family favourite!
