Mothers Day can be really hard if you have no one to buy a Mothers Day gift for. I don’t and it’s sad and if it is the same for you then I am so sorry.
I came upon a Mothers Day gift list at Save the Children though and realised there are many many, many mums who really do need gifts this Mothers Day who I could buy for (and these are way more important gifts than the usual flowers and chocolates) .
With my childrens help we have bought a mum somewhere a healthy baby hamper
Newborns are particularly vulnerable to infections and colds that can quickly become life-threatening.
The solution can be simple: a woolly hat and blanket. They help a baby regulate its temperature and stop them losing vital body heat.
Fantastic.
We also bought a a vaccine kit, this kit will give children every chance of survival. With a measles vaccine, plus treatments for diarrhoea and pneumonia, this gift will protect a child against diseases that kill millions of children every year.
So you do have someone to buy for this Mothers Day and these mums really, really do need your help.
Sending you a big hug and a lot of love for Mothers Day. I know it can be very tough. Let happy memories and positive action keep you warm.
Love this idea as would have done my mum. Love the sentiment in the last para too. Thinking of you xxxxx

Brilliant post Becky – Happy Mothers Day x x
What a truly wonderful idea and a fabulous post Becky. If even those buying gifts for their Mums bought a little less and spent a portion on this amazing initiative it would rause lots of valuable cash. Thank you. H x
