Sunday Inspiration: Make a warming parcel with your kids (Giving back on a budget)

Make a warming parcel with your kids

Today you could have a think with your child about what someone might need to wear to keep warm and then gather up together gloves, socks, a blanket, an old jumper of dads and some vests and make a little parcel for your local homeless shelter. It’s still a bit cold out there! Encourage your child to really think about what someone may need to keep cosy. Then dive under a duvet together and have a big warm cuddle and think how lucky you are. It is fun to help others and it doesn’t have to be about money. I bet your child really enjoys doing this.

There is a really amazing book I love called

Change the world for a fiver

which is filled with things you and your children can do to have fun and make a difference to the world for very little expense.  Well worth a purchase and  great gift idea.  Currently £2.99 with free P+P on Amazon

What a great idea, I will look at adding this to our list for next year. I will have to find out where the nearest shelter is
