Have you ever wondered how to make a pine cone bird feeder?
It’s very simple and a fun thing to do with your kids.
Going out and collecting the pine cones in the first place is a wonderful part of this activity. Drawing or photographing the birds that come to your garden as a result is also lovely thing for a child to do.
To make a pine cone bird feeder you just attach a pine cone to a piece of string and dip it into melted vegetable suet before rolling it in wild birdseed.
Did I mention that I have about 3,000 pine cones to do something with. Perfect! Love!
