A Christmas Gift Guide for 5-10s

I am so delighted to have been asked to be a gift editor for VoucherCodes.co.uk and their online magazine Most Wanted.

It’s not about shopping bargain basement, it’s about getting the best for your money and shopping smart!

I have chosen toys in the 5-10 age range and what fun it has been! I have chosen toys that I think are great value because they are toys that bring many hours of pleasure. I have gone fore a real mix so there is something for everyone.  A few of them span generations and will appeal for years, others will help develop specific skills, creativity and imagination. Some are for outside, some to play together and some can be done by a child all by themselves My tip is to buy toys that are robust,  have lots of play potential and have staying power.

Classic toys are classics for a reason!

The values of the toys I have chosen are increased by the fact you can often find discount vouchers for the stores that sell them too! Always check before you buy. It takes mere moments yet it can make a big difference.

Over at VoucherCodes.co.uk not only can you see some other great gift editor guides like this one, you can also find a whole lot of discount vouchers which will give you and even better deal on toys like these.

Lego Friend Set from John Lewis £9.99

My boy loved the Hex bugs he got in his stocking last year. The chemistry set looks like a good choice for him this year- *prepares for disaster*

There are some great choices there! I LOVED Monopoly as a child but we are not allowed to play it in our house as my other half gets too competitive 🙂

    I can’t believe it is only £10 – brilliant!!
