What does a 4 year old know about money? (We asked Ozzy)

This week we have 4 year old Ozzy telling us all he knows about money! His lovely mum Annie  from Mammasaurus asked him a few questions on our behalf..

Do you get pocket money?

No

What do you think Mummy earns each year?

Lots

How much do you think Daddy earns each year?

Lots and lots

How much do you think Mummy’s car cost?

£10

How much do you think we spend on food each week?

£100

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be Spiderman

What do you think that job pays?

£11

If mummy  gave you £100 what would you spend it on?

I would buy one of those Easter Egg toys

What do you think Being  Thrifty means?

You need to drink juice (I think he’s confused thirsty!!!!)

What is your best money saving tip?

Put your pennies under your pillow

Do you think we should give some of our money to charity?

Yes because some people don’t have much money or a house or a mummy.

Conclusion

Ozzy’s mum Annie is a hugely fab fundraiser for Comic Relief  with Team Honk which is why he is so keenly aware at age 4 of the need for charity. How wonderful

Very sweet how being thrifty gets confused with being thirsty, does mummy make the same mistake?…She is well known for her love of buying  gin in a tin!

Good luck with the career choice Ozzy I think you would make a super spiderman. Keep popping those pennies under your pillow.

Gorgeous Ozzie! He’s the loveliest little boy, no!? Great answers too – I think it’s brilliant that he’s aware of what charities do at such young age – a real reflection on what a superstar his Mum is. xx
